Triage Consulting Group, a medical revenue consultancy in San Francisco, makes giving back to the community a priority. “Triage believes that doing good is an integral part of doing well. Being committed to the social and environmental health of our employees and communities is inherent to the business of Triage.”
These are more than just words. Triage employees volunteered over 1,200 hours to Family House in 2014 alone! The partnership with Triage began more than 6 years ago when employees Lisa Anderson and Natalie Klotsche first found
Family House and saw some connections. “Triage employees were eager to give back in the healthcare space and Family House was very appealing.” Lisa and Natalie met with Family House staff and came up with the idea to do a fundraiser to perform bedroom makeovers - the seed for Founder’s Day Projects for years to come. “This fundraiser eventually led us to volunteer at
other yearly events including Family House fundraisers, holiday parties, and other house projects. It’s interesting to look back to how this partnership started!”
Triage volunteers lend support to our families by hosting the annual Summer Barbecue, as well as family dinners throughout the year, and holiday house decorating in October, November, and December.
They can take credit for contributing to the financial successes of the 20th Annual
Cabernet for Connoisseurs fundraiser and the
2014 Speakeasy Spring Gala. Triage volunteers tackled everything from event setup to silent auction management to selling raffle tickets, and much more, and then did it again at the
Latin Nights Gala on April 25, 2015 - our most successful annual gala yet!
This past year, Triage hosted a Variety Show Fundraiser that raised over $4,900 to benefit transportation for families between Family House and the new UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital at Mission Bay.
In addition to Family House fundraiser event support, each year, Triage hosts Founder’s Day events, during which employees tackle projects over the course of several days. For the last several years, the Founder’s Day bedroom-remodeling projects at the 10th Avenue house have included purchasing new furniture and closet organizers, as well as deep-cleaning, and fresh coats of paint.
Year after year, Triage employees go above and beyond in their support of our families! Geena Haney, Senior Associate at Triage says, “We’ve really valued our relationship with Family House over the years and are excited for what’s in store for the years to come.”
